St. Bede's is also honored to be home on the Jewish Sabbath and certain High Holy days to Santa Fe's HaMakom congregation. "HaMakom" translates to "the place," and the congregation describes itself as "a place for passionate and progressive Judaism." A sign locating HaMakom has been placed next to the sign for St. Bede's out front. Please read the 2004 letters from Fr. Murphy and Rabbi Drucker.

Our Mission Statement

St. Bede’s is a Christ-centered servant community rooted in Biblical teaching and Christian tradition as practiced by the Episcopal Church.

As an expression of faith: We accept and embrace all children of God and welcome traditional and non-traditional households in our church family.

We worship God in a creative, participatory liturgy as prescribed by the Book of Common Prayer.

We seek to provide spiritual nourishment for all members, encouraging them to follow their own spiritual pilgrimage through devotion, study and worship.

We and all Christians are called by our baptismal covenant to do God’s work in the world, and, with our brothers and sisters of other traditions and faiths, we seek to do so individually and as a parish. We Welcome You!

Following our Lord’s Great Commission, St. Bede’s Episcopal Church extends a warm welcome and invitation to all people.
