Justice and Peace Committee

The mission of the Justice and Peace Committee is to help members of the St. Bede’s congregation fulfill the Baptismal Covenant “to strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect the dignity of every human being.” By identifying local, national and global issues of serious concern, we develop strategies for individuals, the parish and the broader community to study and address those issues and take actions that promote justice, peace and civility.

We meet once a month to identify and discuss issues of peace and social justice. Knowledgeable guests are often invited to broaden our understanding of issues such as bullying, immigration, environmental vulnerability, and racism.  Consider joining us at one of our monthly meetings!
