Fr. Ray Raney Rector at Holy Cross
To Fr. Murphy and all of my St. Bede's Family
With joy and humility I tell you I have been elected Rector of The Church of the Holy Cross in Edgewood , NM . The election awaits the formal assent of Bishop Jeffrey but the Bishop has given his verbal approval of the election. My tenure at Edgewood begins Feb. 15.
My life at St. Bede's has taken many turns since I came to the parish in 1985, and now the upbringing I have gained with my relationship with St. Bede's has matured me to the Priesthood and a parish.
Thank you for the love and grace that has allowed me to grow into a new life in Christ and to take these first steps on the Spiritual Journey that began when Nick Molnar and I asked each other after 9/11, “What are you going to do the rest of your life?”
