New Method for Linking Your Albertson's Card to St. Bede's

The Albertson's Community Partner Card has been an important component of St. Bede's outreach support. Now Albertson's has eliminated the separate cards that they scanned when you bought your groceries, but they still have the Program where a portion of your purchase goes to St. Bede's. To participate, you have to have a registered Preferred Savings Card from Albertson's and then you have to link your Preferred Savings Card on their website designating St. Bede's as your Community Partner. Your Preferred Savings Card is not registered if you just picked it up, but never filled out the registration form and turned it in to Albertson's. The registration form contains your name, address, and phone number.

If you did not register your Preferred Savings Card and want to participate, go to Albertson's Customer Service Desk and get a new card and fill out the registration on the spot Once you have a registered Preferred Savings Card, do the following:

Enter http://www.albertsons.com/ into the address field of your web browser.

If this is the first time you are visiting albertsons.com, enter your zip code into the box provided on the right-hand side of your screen and click on the arrow image. Once a zip code has been entered, click on the "In the Community" link located near the bottom of the screen.

Click on the Community Partners logo on the right-hand side of the screen, located below the As see also:" heading.

Click on the "login or register with your Preferred Savings Card first" link.

Enter the Preferred Savings Card number in the box provided on the left-hand side of the screen under the "sign in:" heading. Then enter the telephone number you signed up with in the box provided. Once these 2 pieces of information have been entered correctly, click on the "LOGIN" button.

Once you have logged in, click on the "Find a Partner" image on the right-hand side of the screen, locate the appropriate Community Partner organization. A search page will appear allowing you to search by organization name, city, and state. Once you have located "St. Bede's", place a checkmark in the box next to it and click on the "Add Selected Partners" image. This will link that Community Partner with your Preferred Savings Card, and they will begin earning contributions on purchases immediately.

This may seem a cumbersome process, but it is worth it for St. Bede's!

Don't get discouraged! If you cannot make it work, call Albertson's Help number at 1-877-932-7948 and they will help you.
