Adult Forums Focus on Faith, Arts

In October, the Adult Forums will launch a series on the topic, “Faith and the Arts.” The series will run from October 7 until November 25, the last Sunday before Advent. As you know, St. Bede's is blessed with a remarkable number of creative artists of all sorts. This series is thus an opportunity for some of them to talk about their work and its relation to their faith. We will take a break from the series on October 28, in honor of Reformation Sunday, when John Molanphy will discuss one of the greatest founders of our church, Thomas Cranmer. The Forum schedule for October:

     October 7 – Fritz Anders: musician, composer, and choreographer
     October 14 – Lucien Niemeyer: photographer
     October 21 – Janie Oakes: painter and poet
     October 28 – John Molanphy on Thomas Cranmer
